In these hot days, I've been playing with a new jewelry page on my website. I've added a slideshow and plan soon to create a new site.

Just imagine ... green like grass, smooth and natural, connecting us to nature. Soft beige, linked to recycling and reusing. Liquid blue suggestive of water. Warm browns that are organic and appealing. Deep, dark reds like precious rubies or garnets.
These are colors that are symbolic of our connection to the earth and nature. And, they are some of the colors that are trending to the top for spring and summer.
Pantone's color projections for spring and summer (ColorForward 2010) mention that green concepts permeate our lives and provide positive energy. Some of the key words that we jewelry designers use to express the same concept are repurposing, reusing, reinventing, and organic. Most of us are always inspired by nature and her beauty.
So, embrace the earth; connect with nature; enjoy the beauty we see and experience. We're all richer for the experience.
What a gorgeous day! Just the right time to drive around taking pictures of springtime azaleas. Nature is the best inspiration!
