Fast and light, the latest edition to NewIndustries fleet of Airships is a real beauty. Designed to carry a small complement of passengers and crew, and to get them to their destination quickly the LP I is a glorious example of why NewIndustries is the world leader in Airship construction.

There are those who cry “foul”, suggesting that the essential mechanical components of this vessel are not of this world, but instead, from a galaxy far, far away. Not the first time that critics of NewIndustries have suggested an unwholesome interstellar alliance involving the industry giant.

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand made brooch/pin. The propeller moves. I made ALL of the parts of this brooch (excluding the pin back). This brooch/pin measures about 1 1/2 inch long. My signature is on the back. It is copyright Mark Eliot Schwabe.

Edmonton Enterprises I Airship brooch pin

Recently, flamboyant industrialist Zachariah Edmonton turned his attentions from locomotives & trolleys to Airship Travel. Promising not to “break the bank” of the traveling public, he has developed an Airship designed to take passengers on medium to long distance routes for modest fares. “You won’t need to be a Baron or a Starlet in order travel on MY airships” he told reporters during a recent meeting with the press. Ironically, those on the guest list for inaugural flight of Edmonton Enterprises I include the Baron von Huinboldt, said to have cut short his holiday in the Alps just to participate in the inaugural flight, and Miss Kitty Fanning of international stage fame, with whom Edmonton is whispered to be having an illicit affair.

Edmonton also announced the formation of Edmonton Transit Systems Ltd (ETS) to be headed by his half brother Pierre Edmonton. ETS will provide transit services to the public and will be the exclusive user of Edmonton Enterprises Airships. It seems that the good Mr Edmonton is intent on profiting form both Airship construction and from the Airship traveling public.

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand made brooch/pin. The propeller moves. All of the parts of this piece were made by the artist (excluding the bar pin back). Airship Pirate Long Gun EM L3000 brooch pin

When the Airship Pirates of the Central Coast Region “obtained” the amazingly destructive EM 667 canon for their airship “Revenge” they also “obtained” several advanced, remarkably accurate and destructive hand held long guns. This is the EM L3000. It is said to be the weapon that took the life of heroic Captain Giles Magnus (spear champion, great) in his ill-fated attempt to defend the flagship of the Central Coast Marine Militia air fleet against the pirates dreadnought “Revenge”.

This is a wonderfully detailed, one-of-a-kind, hand made brooch/pin. All of the parts of this piece were made by me (excluding the pin back parts). The pin measures about 2 1/8 inch (5.7 cm) long. My signature is on the back. Thinkin bout machinery brooch, pin #2

Some times I just get thinkin about machine parts - metal pieces of this and that, that if put together right, make things work! This group of parts "works" for me. Very steamy!

This brooch/pin is unique made of pewter & brass. I made all of the components in the design, and signed the back. It measures about 3/4 inch (2 cm) x 3/4 inch (2 cm).

Flying Dragon ring brass

This ring is one of my favorite designs. I ware it in silver all the time, I guess it makes me feel powerful!

I made this one in brass with a purple onyx (genuine onyx, dyed purple). Most folks don’t make rings in brass - they tend to darken, and possibly darken your skin too. But the look is STRIKING! so I made it anyway. I suggest it for occasional ware only (like for a SPECIAL occasion!)

This ring is size 11. If you would like this design in a different size, contact me BEFORE making your purchase. I have one more and can make it a little smaller, or a little larger. If I can make it in your size, I will make a special listing for you.

Airship Officers Guild Spouses' Necklace

One of the many traditions of the Airship Officers Guild is to present the spouse of each officer with a beautiful piece of jewelry. This is the necklace that is presented to the wives of Airship Officers. The number of stones on the necklace symbolize the rank of her husband. It is considered quite a status symbol to have and ware one of these necklaces.

The Guild is very firm in its belief that members be jugged on their abilities and job performance, not their gender of sexual orientation. Accordingly, if an officer's spouse is a man, he is presented with a brooch (rather than a necklace) representing the rank of his spouse.

This necklace is hand made using the highest quality pewter, with brass and Swarovski crystals. The chain is brass (not just brass plated) and is secured by a lobster claw clasp. I made the pewter part first, from 9 different pieces of metal. I then had pewter castings made of it. To a casting, I added the three brass components and the two segments of chain. Then came the connecting links for the clasp (100% soldered chain and connecting links) and finally the Swarovski crystals.

The necklace is about 1 5/8 inch (4.2 cm) wide and the chain is about 16 inches (40 cm) long. If you need the chain longer or shorter, I can do that for you. Please communicate with me BEFORE purchasing if you need a different chain length.

Here in the mountains of Vermont it is said that there are four seasons. Pre-winter, winter, post-winter and the shortest, growing season. In this environment the artist has little to do but play in the snow or hold up in the warmth of the studio - where the imagination runs wild! There is a muse in these mountains and she is mine; my Mountain Muse.

This sculpture is made of Fine Pewter, ski poles are bronze, and the base is black granite. It is 7 1/2 inches tall from the bottom of the granite to the top of her hair. It is a limited edition of 100.

When the scoundrels who call themselves Airship Pirates gather, they proudly identify themselves with this Insignia Brooch. The symbolism is unmistakable; the profile and propeller of an airship with the crossed swords of the Pirates, and the craftsmanship is exceptional.

These Insignia Brooches are closely guarded by the Pirates, so it is no small matter for a good citizen to come into possession of one. Considerable risk was taken to procure this one - which is now available to you for purchase!

This brooch pin is hand made in pewter, brass and sterling silver with a bar pin back. It measures approx 1 1/8 inch (29mm) long x 1/2 inch (12mm) high. The propeller spins!

A word about process; All of my pieces begin from raw pieces of metal - pewter sheet stock, brass rod, copper wire ... the like. For many of my pieces (including this one), I will make a basic component from the raw metal - a component like an airship body - and have castings made of that component. Then I will add parts and details to the cast components making each piece by hand and unique.

For those who are interested in these sorts of things; I made this pin from 11 different pieces of metal (plus the bar pin back) and used 12 different soldering operations to put it together.

NewIndustries recently unveiled their new corporate executive airship with a gala inaugural flight. Superbly engineered and crafted the vessel is said to be the most luxurious in the sky. Guests at the gala included not only the elite of the NewIndustries corporate executives, but also prominent artists, performers, politicians and aviators. All were treated to the finest Champaign and to culinary delights too delectable for words. Music was performed by the most extraordinary musicians on the continent. And, to make the evening extra memorable, all of the ladies aboard were presented with a commemorative necklace. The necklaces are all very similar, but each has unique details.

This one of a kind hand crafted necklace. All of the parts of this necklace were hand made by the artist (excluding the chain, clasp & crystals). You may have seen other pieces listed by me with the same title and description; however, rest assured, each piece is individually hand made and unique. Some of the differences are the smoke stacks - which always vary from necklace to necklace - the chain used, the stone colors and other small details that go into every piece.
