A "Sojourn" is A Resting Place Along Life's Journey. Each piece I make is a new opportunity to combine my love of art and sewing with inspiration from Maine's mountain, forest and ocean vistas. Spending time making art, for me, is a chance to be introspective, to shut out the real world (if only for an hour or two) and focus on the creative energy that keeps me feeling alive and whole.
