This OOAK (one-of-a-kind) wide cuff features green curls entangling with one another on top of a purple 3-drop peyote base. The lines of orange make the difference even more striking. The three colors come together to create unique and hefty cuff. Completing the cuff is a handmade (by me) polymer clay button mimicing the same pattern.

The cuff is 3.25 inches (8cm) wide and 8 inches (20 cm) long. The button is 1 5/8 inches (4.25 cm) long by 1.5 inches (4 cm) wide.

Created using 8 lb fireline for extra strength and longevity.

Beachcombing the Indian Ocean

Shells rustle gently against one another in a cluster in this OOAK (one-of-a-kind) necklace. The shells were collected on Shelly Beach, on the south coast of Mombasa, a Kenyan town on the Indian Ocean. A mix of brown and cream seed beads complement the speckled shells.

The cluster is made up of 14 pieces of tubular peyote, each with a piece of shell hanging from the bottom, and topped with a wooden bead from South Africa. Each of these is attached to a small length of tubular herringbone.

The piece is completed with a faux suede lace cord. Two sliding knots are used to adjust the necklace to your ideal length.

Power Goblet

A white streak splits through a background of purple fading to blue and then green. The streak is lined with a bold red, and this all comes together to create a POWER GOBLET. This goblet was created for the a challenge themed "Super Power." You want super powers? Then drink from THIS goblet. Okay, okay, I know it's all make-believe (and I do not recommend using the goblet for beverages), but if I were a superhero, I would darn better have a goblet like this one! And you can *feel* like a superhero with this goblet on display, possibly even as a candleholder.

The goblet is 5.5 inches (14 cm) high, with a cup diameter of nearly 3 in (7.5 cm). The stem is wrapped in Japanese and Czech seed beads in peyote stitch, as well as the lower half of the cup. The upper portion was created using a freeform netting technique, and it is all topped off with a yellow/gold winding string of beads.
