Pink Polka Dotted Bead Dangle Earrings

These pink, polka dotted lampwork beads were made in my home studio. They've been properly annealed for strength and longevity. I've attached them on a long wire to make these earrings. They're a lot of fun to wear; they dangle when you walk and move you head. They go great with a variety of outfits!

1 3/4" (45 mm) tall without the earwires, 2 1/4" (55 mm) tall with the earwires. Earwires are sterling silver - great for those with sensitive ears! Will ship in a cardboard jewelry box.

Blue and Silver Fused Glass Platter

I love this platter! This is made from a mold of my own design, carved by hand. I started out with a square of blue glass, then draped a second square of clear glass over the top. The blue glass that was not covered by the clear reacted with the heat of the kiln, turning a beautiful silver color - it almost looks like metal! The clear glass draped over top of the blue pools to four corners on each side of the platter. The plate has been properly annealed (cooled) for strength. It would make a great, decorative accent to your kitchen!

The plate is square and 11 inches from point to point.

Dark Ivory Add a Bead Lampwork Pendant

Beads remind me a lot of childhood. I love making glass beads, and watching the light reflect and shine through them. I've developed a pendant that allows you to wear whatever beads you would like, and switch them out in mere seconds. The bottom of the pendant unscrews, allowing you to add and remove beads as you would like.

This pendant is made from a dark ivory and pastel glass. Four beads are included on this pendant; a small dark ivory bead, and three beads with blue, green, and coral colored dots.

The pendant measures 1 3/4 in (44 mm) tall. The largest bead is about 3/4 in (19 mm)wide. This will ship in a cardboard jewelry box, and can be gift wrapped upon request.

Khaki Olive Blue Swish Bowl

Olive and blue swish fused glass bowl with stand.

The bowl is made of two layers of glass, one an off white and one a transparent green. The result of these two colors is an olive color. A blue swipe runs across the glass.

The edges of this piece are scalloped. The bottom of the bowl is completely rounded. It won't stand up on it's own, so the pictured wrought iron style stand is included. It looks great as an accent to any room, and could be used on a coffee table or even as a fruit bowl! My glass pieces are completely food safe.

The bowl is 4 in (9 cm) deep and 8 1/2 in (22 cm)wide. The stand is 8 1/4 in (21 cm) tall and 5 1/2 in (13 cm) wide. The glass bowl fits nicely in the center of the stand.

What is Fused Glass?

Fused glass involves heating compatible pieces of glass to very high temperatures in a specially configured glass kiln. The glass is then securely melted together. At particular temperatures, glass can me manipulated in different ways. Glass can be formed with the use of special tools, slumped in or draped over handmade molds, dropped through holes in ceramic or terra cotta, or even embedded with metals such as silver or gold. It can require a lot of experimentation to get a new type of mold to work out just right. Glass fusing can be tempermental, but it is very rewarding, and each piece of jewelry or home decor piece is truly a work of art.

Ethereal White Damselfly Fused Glass Pendant

This white glass pendant has a damselfly or dragonfly attached to it. These are fired twice in my kiln - once to fuse the glass, then a second time to secure the damselfly. I've smoothed the back with my grinder, and then attached a sterling silver plated bail. This pendant will fit on any standard snake chain.

The Birds 22k Gold Fused Glass Pendant

The base of this piece is an opaque, black piece of glass. Four birds are perched on a branch along the center of the pendant. The gold birds have been securely attached to the glass through a special kiln firing, a separate process from the firing of the base piece. I've smoothed the back with my grinder, and then attached a sterling silver plated bail. This pendant will fit on any standard snake chain.

Lime Green with Bubbles Pendant

This little pendant started out as a lime green square, blue and white bubbles on top. It's very cute and very small, perfect for the girl that likes dainty jewelry. Looking for Birds 22k Gold Pendant

Fused Glass Dichroic Ponytail Holder

This is a neat little dichroic glass ponytail holder. This particular type of glass changes color depending on how you look at it, and sparkles in the sunlight. Fun to wear in your hair on regular days or special occasions! A clear piece of glass has been placed on top to give the glass depth and protect the special glass during everyday wear. I've smoothed the back with my grinder, and attached an "ouchless" black ponytail band.

Purple and Cream Triangles Wall Swish

It's mini art! This is an interesting piece! The bottom of this piece is cream-colored. The top piece is a transparent piece of purple glass that changes to blue depending on the light. Cream colored triangles decorate the top. The glass has been manipulated to create a bent, s-shaped pattern. An acrylic hanger has been attached to the back so that it's ready to hang on the wall.

This cute little rainbow piece is 5" tall and 3" wide. The "swish" stands out from the wall about 3/4".

Small Iridescent Red Wall Swish

It's mini art! This is an iridescent red piece of glass with smaller white glass circles across it to form a circle pattern. Iridescent glass changes color when you look at it. Bumble Bee Fused Glass Pendant

I love these cuff links! The yellow base of these cuff links have a clear piece of glass on top, then black stripes on top in an unusual pattern. It looks just like a spring bee! I've smoothed the back with my grinder, and then attached stainless steel cuff links.

Marine Blue and White Speckled Bowl

This square fused glass bowl is a soft blue. It's impossible to tell just how great it looks in person from the photographs. The bowl is made of a deep blue glass, with embedded white flecks. An eighth of an inch of clear glass surrounds the edge of the bowl. The edges of the bowl are "deckled" to create texture. The bowl has an entirely flat, rounded bottom. It looks great as an accent to any room, and could be used on a coffee table or even as a fruit bowl! My glass pieces are completely food safe.
