Karen Krull Robart

I am a mixed media artist concentrating on textiles, but occasionally wandering off to dabble with acrylics, watercolor, welding, stitched metal work, and found objects. I started out as a quilter many years ago (never mind how many...), then changed my focus as I was captivated by hand painting and hand dyeing fabrics. I strive to express my love of nature and the Great Plains through my fabric landscapes.

The "Wrapped in a Rainbow" line was created to utilize some of the many fibers that I have collected over the years - I can't seem to resist a luscious hank of yarn when I see one. This line is the start of an accessories/clothing line that is slowly being developed as I find other areas I want to explore creatively.
