Straight On Daffodil

Yesterday my first daffodil opened ! It looked so cold and lonely out there so I brought it in and painted it. I'm looking right into the center of the trumpet so The painting is called "Straight On Daffodil."

Painted on a 12 x 12 inch gallery wrapped canvas with 1 1/2 inch sides. The sides are painted like the image; there's no need to frame this piece. Wired and ready to hang.

Summer City Original Painting 12 x 12 inches

The heat, the density, the pollution. And the excitement. Cities , especially big cities, seem to have the very best and the very worst of everything.

Reds, oranges, ochers, and touches of lime green , an abstraction with shapes and forms that can be interpreted by the viewer. Please look at the detail photos, too.

Painting is on stretched canvas with the image continuing around the sides of the picture. No frame is needed. It is wired and ready to hang. It is 12 x 12 inches.[30 x 30 cm.] x 1 1/2 inches deep.

It is varnished with a satin finish for protection.

I have used part of this painting for my shop banner.

Original ACEO Boston II

This ACEO was drawn in Boston and is a view from my hotel window, a juxtaposition of old and new architecture. There are two in this series.

This painting is 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches, the standard ACEO format. It is painted with acrylics and sharpies on heavy sketch paper and has been mounted on black cardstock. It has been varnished for protection.

This is an original painting, not a print/reproduction. It is unique and you will be the only person to have this image. The title, my signature and the date are on the back.

It will be shipped in a plastic ACEO bag and will be sent between two pieces of cardboard.

I call them WALKABLE ART! This floorcloth was handpainted by me with a design of checks with the sun, moon and stars. It will be a super accent anywhere in your home or office.

The colors are terra cotta, dark blue, aqua, anda golden yellow. Designs were created with stencils and rubber stamp.

This floorcloth is 24 x 36 inches.. A great size for in front of the sink, in the hall, the den or office.

My floorcloths are painted on a very heavy canvas [No.8 - the heaviest one can buy].

A painting of a dream, a remembrance, a place I once lived.

This painting was inspired by a book that was written by a friend. He had a house in a small village in Mexico and the book is part memoir and part fiction about a week that he spent there during the full moon.

I also spent some time in this "sleepy little fishing village" and his book brought back memories of what a magical place it is. My son went there recently with his girlfriend and he reported that it's still magical!

The painting is 30 x 30 inches and painted on a gallery wrapped canvas. I used acrylic paints and a silver glaze on the moon and a teeny bit of glitter in the water.
