On a late summers day you might come upon such a tree, deep green leaves hidden within it's depths and a flush of pale yellow glowing across the top. This tree is pieced from a variety of fabric scraps ranging from pale yellow and light greens to brilliant mustard and forest green. These colors are displayed on a field of black denim from recycled pants, and appliqued in kelly green thread. Ribbit Ribbit croak! These friendly amphibians are ready to jump into your shopping cart! A few years back I picked up a sack of green fabric at the thrift store, and when I opened it I found that about half of it was cut into these strange shapes! After much argument we decided that some old lady was bent on making stuffed frogs and had cut out a whole crew of them. Four different shades of green make the frogs, and two colors of glass bead make eyes. Handles are patterned green cotton (an old dance costume in fact). 17" x 14" on sturdy gray recycled slacks. Hemmed with decorative green embroidery. Cute little guys for your cute little guy.

Since this is a T-shirt, it is suitable for carrying moderately heavy loads, but best suited for large light-weight items. In the picture it's full of yarn, but it would also be great for clothes, bread and veggies at the grocery store, or other fluffy matter. It's super small when folded so you can put it in a coat pocket, or the pocket of one of my more heavy-weight totes.

Rah Rah Rainbow Recycled T-Shirt Bag

This is an awesomely packable bag that stretches for big bulky loads. A tween shirt with rainbow letters was de-sleeved (the sleeves made two small pockets on the back and inside of he bag) and slits cut for carrying convenience. 15"x13" not including the handles.

This shirt was discovered brand new with a stain on the front, one washing has removed much of the stain and I imagine another will take is all out.
