Soft, lightweight 100% organic cotton jersey fabric will be custom hand dyed to your color preference ~ which will then be custom made to size (for plus sizes please contact us *before* purchase to calculate and confirm extra fabric costs as necessary!) into an incredibly comfortable and unique long sleeve dress ~ Double and triple stitched with highest quality natural cotton thread in complimentary hues to highlight edges.

Upon purchase, we will need your measurements for: bust, waist, hips, ideal sleeve length, and shoulder width, and well as your choice of color for custom dyeing ~ please allow 2 to 3 weeks for completion and delivery, as this item will be created by two artists in two unique processes.

Komasu Shibori Bamboo Top in Mahogany and Gray (extra large)

Square diamonds represent foundation, connection, harmony, and the creativity that is expressed by the culmination of the four elements. Deliciously soft bamboo and cotton tee dyed In deep mahogany brown and gray.

To make the design, I hand-stitched the diamonds using a komasu shibori technique, then used low-impact dyes to give it its rich color. It's hard to convey how rich and pretty this shirt is in a photograph.

Terra Cotta Tiger Arashi Shibori Bamboo Top (medium)

When I was growing up, we had a great looking clay tiger who crouched on the kitchen bar. This shirt reminds me of that tiger, protective and fierce.

To make this design, I wrapped, bound, and scrunched the shirt on a pvc pipe before dyeing it in a deep maroon brown. Then, another bath in terra cotta orange.

To make this pattern, I used an arashi shibori (pipe wrapping) technique to create the twisted ribbons, then overdyed it in handmixed teal and the palest turquoise.

What a fun little shirt, in happy cotton candy pink and sweet orange! And oh, is it soft - bamboo is such a delight to wear (and dye).

To make this design, I drew curving lines on the shirt and used a maki-age shibori technique to resist the intersecting triangles. A bath in low-impact dyes, and out came this sweet treat of a top.

To make this pattern, I wrapped this delicious bamboo tee around a pvc pipe, bound it, scrunched it, and dyed it a lovely deep navy blue. Twenty-four hours later, I unwrapped it to discover this amazingly cool striped shirt. Arashi (the pipe binding part) is always a surprise!

Allium Shibori BambooTop (small)

Oh, I do love those big allium flowers! This shirt is lovely and delicate, full of pale color that flows from lavender to periwinkle to blue. Mmm, delicious.

To make this design, I handstitched the resist using ori-nui, karamatsu, and awase-nui shibori techniques, then dyed it in low-impact fiber reactive dye.

And the shirt itself? A deliciously soft bamboo/cotton tee from ONNO. If you haven't worn bamboo, you need to. Like cashmere and silk. You'll never want to take it off.

This delicious pair of leggings is the third and final pair of snow-dyes from our unusual snow storm - here in Atlanta, we get snow one weekend and mosquitoes the next! I only wish I had dyed more pairs than three.

These have crystalline shards of color in magenta, pinks, reds, and olive - very dramatic and entirely unique. Nobody else will ever have a pair of leggings just like these!

We don't get snow often in Georgia, but when we do I'm in dyer's heaven. Snow has unique properties when it comes to dispersing dye into fabric, and these leggings prove it. I couldn't repeat these colors or pattern no matter how I tried.

Purple Ferns Unfurling Shibori Bamboo Top (large)

The first of my new bamboo tees! If you've never worn bamboo, you need to - it's as soft as cashmere with a silky sheen. And it just gets better the more you wash it. Plus, these tops come in sizes that fit normal women! I'm hooked.

Purple and violet with a base of charcoal gray and cobalt blue - If you're a purple person, you need this top. It's full of life and joy. Plus, it's perfect with jeans.

To make the design, I used ori-nui, maki-age, and modified mokume shibori techniques, dyeing the shirt first in charcoal and cobalt. After unbinding, I restitched the ori-nui ferns and overdyed the shirt in purple. It's luscious.

Gaia Jambalaya Shibori Top (medium)

I love this top so much, I almost didn't list it. Fun white flowers, a river of grass, all complemented with cobalt and cerulean blue in curvy, undulating layers. It's the essence of spring.

To make this pattern, I drew the design on the shirt and bound up everything but the areas that are dark blue. It took some planning, because this shirt involved three sequential dyebaths, with careful unbinding between each one. First cobalt, then the yummy avocado, and finally cerulean blue. At the end, I unbound the flowers. Isn't it great?

Giddyup! Spatter Top (large - medium)

This one's for your inner cowgirl (we all have one, don't we?) In rusty orange brown with a gray/black spatter overlay.

To make this design, I used parts from a rusty iron windchime I found at a yard sale - it's clearly handmade, and I sure wish I knew who the artist was! I spatter sprayed black dye around the shapes, and then overdyed the shirt in a bath of rusty brown and burnt orange.

This top looks great with chunky turquoise jewelry - and it's perfect with jeans.
