The piece was created entirely by hand ~ one bead at a time ~ in a smoke-free environment. Beaded art can be very durable as evidenced by highly-valued vintage beadwork available in antique stores and museums. All jewelry is made with Fireline for durability. A unique, one-of-a-kind freeform necklace which was my study in the blending of colors. Full of gem stones and glass stones and beads, gorgeous lampwork beads and ceramic pieces. The necklace is dramatically built around a glass circle, decorative yarns gently meander through the weaving and a stunning ceramic toggle closure (Ornamentea.com) finishes the piece beautifully.
