I'm getting settled in my new apartment and have been staying busy working full-time as a massage therapist. Although I'm not completely unpacked I've set up a wonderful work area and have been able to complete some fresh ideas I've had recently. Having Saturdays off is something new and exciting for me. I've always, always worked in retail which has meant my weekends are workdays and not to be spent relaxing like regular folks. All summer I've been wanting to go yard saling and finally I have the chance. Picking up great finds is a super way to get materials for my repurposed products. I had wanted to try decoupaging sewing patterns onto wooden blocks and when I found a great set at a yard sale recently I made quick work of my ideas. I find the thrill of searching for materials inspiring and can't wait to transform my new purchases into unique products. I am enjoying my new home and my new life.
