My name is Barbara and I have personally designed and created all of the pieces you see here.

My designs are very much influenced by nature and my environment. My first collection is based around my stash of beach glass that I collected over many years of living by Lake Erie. To that, I have added beautiful beach rocks. Our backyard in the country also offers up treasures I ike to use.

Metalsmithing classes expanded my horizons and a metal collection, using fine metals and common metals, was born. However the lines tend to be simple and clean-almost organic in nature.

And these collections frequently overlap. I Iove to find unusual ways to combine these elements.

I continues to explore new techniques, while maintaining my original vision.

I also am a traumatic brain Injury survivor. After working as a scientist all of my life, I was unable to return to my profession. I began making jewelry 2 years ago as therapy to aid in retraining my brain. Who knew where it would lead.
