niobium nose collection-- primitive series

Description

I create the Primitive Series using simple and ancient wire-working techniques. I aim for what the earliest jewelry must have looked like, to create something simple and timeless, like what you'd find in a museum's antiquities exhibit.  

Niobium is a non-reactive metal-- perfect for anyone with metal allergies of any sort. It's also a gorgeous dark grey color.  

I carefully handform these out of 20, 22 and 24 gauge wire and file the ends.  

There are 4 styles shown.  

Meddle: A delicate hoop with an easy to work clasp. 24ga/1cm  

Omega: A simple take on an ancient tribal style, for either nostril or septum. Niobium curled and folded up on both sides then hammered. The double part is thin enough to go through a typical sized piercing and thick enough to stay until the wearer removes it. 22ga/1cm  

Fore: These thread through the inside wall of your nostril all the way back round to the inside. It looks like a complete ring when worn, but it's easier to work with, take in and take out. 22ga/1cm large/8mm small  

Endless: Still suitable for typical sized piercings, these sturdy rings simply bend open and closed. 20ga/1cm large/8mm small  

This listing is for SIX (6) rings. The default package will contain one of each style shown, but you can mix and match to your heart's content. Just let me know how many of what style at checkout!  

I can make them in other gauges, diameters or metals so please convo me prior to ordering if you'd like something just for you.  

Please expect slight variations do the handmade nature of the rings. If for some reason your nose ring dosn't fit properly I'll send you a different size at no cost. Thanks!
