'Under the Oaks' is a unque hand dyed and sunprinted 100% Habotai silk scarf. Each Oak leaf was carefully dried, then placed on the silk, resulting in gorgeous replications of the shape and veining of each Oak leaf in the silk beneath.  

Hand dyed using Setacolor fabric dye/paints, then carefully heatset multiple times to ensure longevity of the patterning and colors.  

Subtle colorings of browns, coppers, and forest greens abound in this scarf. The front is a wonderful matte finish, while the back, is shiney, and smooth, all due to the unique dyeing method used on this scarf.  

Due to the dye method used, this scarf is not as supple as silk normally would be when dyed using other methods. Nonetheless, it is a definate showstopper for the wearer- long enough for a neck wrap, a head wrap or even a belt or waist wrap.
