Description

Wikipedia defines Faux Bois (from the French for "false wood") as the artistic imitation of wood or wood grains in various media. It was while I was photographing a pendant, using my wooden hand as a model, that I was inspired to create the initial faux bois design. This colorful version is called Bois Peint, or "painted wood."  

This funky faux bois bracelet is my original design, a wood grain pattern woven in three drop peyote stitch using Japanese Delica beads in 16 different colors. This will definitely make a statement on your wrist!  

The cuff measures 1-1/2" wide and 7" long (when clasped). The closure is a loop and toggle made from the same beads used in the bracelet.  

Your bracelet will arrive packaged in a beautiful gift box, perfect to give as a present to someone special or to yourself!
