This gorgeous, One of a Kind Silk scarf has been carefully hand dyed, using my own unique dying methods, with Procion MX dyes.  

The predominant colors of this piece are oranges, and yellows, with hints of reds, dots of brown and blues. It ranges from vibrant to subtl to muted coloring, all in one scarf.  

It was then carefully folded, Itajime style and wrapped on a pole for shibori in the Arashi method, then overdyed to create extra depths of color. This scarf was left pleated for texture and contrast.  

The length makes it perfect for use as not only a neck wrap, but also a delicate seeming head scarf as well. It is sure to draw many an eye, and garner the wearer many compliments.  

This stunning silk scarf is the 1st of the Dante-Inu Commermorative Birth Day Scarves. Only one a year will be released, every November. No two will ever be alike, in coloring or style.
