Tobacco Road Arashi Shibori Top (medium)

Description

Release your inner tiger! There's just something about this shirt that I love. Maybe it's the golden brown and fall yellow with the black. Maybe it's the randomness of the arashi combined with some scattered white paisleys. Or maybe it's because it's all tigery. Kind of primitive looking, isn't it?  

This top was wrapped and bound around a pole, then scrunched (arashi shibori), and dyed in black. Then, I stitched in some paisleys with maki-age hand-stitched shibori and dyed it in golden yellow and tobacco brown to balance the diagonals made by the arashi.

- Shoulder to shoulder: 15.5 inches  

- Underarm to underarm: 17.5 inches  

- Length from neckline to center back: 25 inches  

Top by Alternative Apparel of superfine 40/single ring spun 100% pima cotton.
