SOLD - "Music in the Air" Fused Glass Brooch

Description

This is a fused glass brooch I call �Music in the Air�.  

The core of this brooch is partially opaque, partially transparent in light blue glass with two dark blue sparkling corners. Several swirls and lines of fine silver cross and overlay each other, forming a dynamic triangle.  

This brooch is cold worked after the glass was fused, meaning, it was sanded with consecutively finer grid until it was shaped and the glass was completely smooth.  

This piece is hand cut from art glass, assembled and then fired multiple times at high temperatures.  

All my fused glass pieces are made from compatible glass that is properly annealed (cooled very slowly) to ensure long lasting break resistance.  

A top quality base metal brooch pin is securely glued to the back.  

As a reminder for people suffering from allergies; base metal contains nickel.  

This item comes in a metal hinged jewelry box and is shipped in a sturdy cardboard mailing box to limit damage in transit.
