Nightmare Insomnia in the Garden

Nothing about this necklace is nightmarish, however, the bead used as the focal is part of my nightmare insomnia series of beads. This bead series started in response to my daughter's nightly dreams of spiders and my lack of sleep and frustration with my inability to help her. She is proud to be the inspiration, but thinks it's mean I would put stylized "spiders" on beads.  

This "spider" is engulfing an abstract garden of flowers. To set it off, there are four bali flower shaped charms on top and some freeform wire work above and below. The focal is strung on a gorgeous hand dyed silk ribbon and created to be adjustable from the tiniest neck up to approximately 24" long. The focal, including the loop on top and the wire hanging below measures 2 3/4"
