Necklace featuring three lampwork beads created in my studio using an expensive and rare glass called Terra that does super cool things when heated. It starts out baby poop brown and turns into all colors of the rainbow.  

The dangerous part of the title comes from the fact that the design of the necklace feels slightly dangerous because the centerpiece is not tightly wound and looped. Rather it stays together only because the ends of the heavier gauge wire have been hammered flat.  

One of my favorite things about this design is that the beads spin freely. I love movement and playfulness and the unexpected in jewelry and this piece delivers all three of those.  

The clasp is an S-hook and is super easy to connect. Also attached to the clasp is my jewelry maker's mark.  

Necklace measures approximately 20" and is made with sterling silver, fused and hammered fine silver links, and my lampwork beads.  

I have more of these beads and will be working on a matching bracelet and earrings.  

PLEASE NOTE: the lighting used to photograph this necklace may make it appear differently than in other types of lighting situations. I try my best to make the colors look as accurate as possible to my monitor's settings.  

General Information regarding my lampwork beads: All of my lampwork beads are handmade by me in my home based studio in Indiana. Because they are handmade, there will never be a perfect machine made bead, but I do strive for perfection as much as I am humanly able. My beads have been annealed for strength in a digitally controlled kiln and the holes have been thoroughly cleaned of bead release.
