Pin - Felted Flower, Lime, Light Blue and Orange by madeinlowell

This lime, light blue and orange pin is about 3 inches (7.5 cm) across.  

These pins look great on hats, scarves, jacket lapels, bags and sweaters.  

I created this flower pin by needle felting beautifully dyed wool roving. I sculpted each petal individually then felted them all together to make the layers. I love going through my vintage button collection to find the perfect match to sew in the center. This one is bakelite.  

I gave a flower to a friend at the holidays and someone thought I had just cut the petals out of felt fabric, then they saw me endlessly poking at loose wool with tiny needles and realized it�s a whole other craft!
