Ponderosa Bark Handwoven Scarf

Description

The scarf measures 71"x9" with an 8" twisted fringe and a hemstitched edge. It features handspun silk/wool in many shades of browns and golds and the pattern threads are hand dyed, steel blue silk.  

This is an original design that is meant to mimic the puzzle like bark patterns of the Ponderosa Pine. In the light, the steel blue silk flashes so that the design appears and disappears from view. Ponderosa was an award winner at the Northern California Handweavers Conference.  

You may handwash this scarf and air dry. Press while still damp. Or -- dry clean.
