Inspiration:

The wolf moved silently without effort, but with great purpose. Wolf was alert to the smallest changes. Wolf was hunting... hunting for a human with a tender heart. Wolf also teaches us to be aware of everything around us at all times. To be alert, but not fearful. To use all of our sensual qualities. Our sensual qualities are the key to life. Whether that is singing, eating, mating, dancing, playing, or protecting.

Nautral Turqoise Cairn Necklace

These Cairns are another transformation of my Cairn series. Smaller and more simply stated than the Lariat Cairns, yet half-again larger than my Wee-Cairns! This size Cairn was inspired by a Gloria - a customer looking for something between the two existing Cairn styles.

Throughout the ages and found in all cultures, Cairns have been used for centuries as path markers and landmarks. I like to think that these simple Cairns can serve as reminders for the wearer of all the guides and path markers that are available along the way.

These Cairns are created using really lovely natural Turquoise, a favorite of mine. On this stack the largest stone on the bottom is 20 x 8mm and the Cairn is a total of 40mm tall including the loop at the top. It is accented with a rustic Copper accordion bead that I've customized and placed just below the Turquoise nugget at the crown.

The pendant hangs on two strands of waxed linen, measuring a total of 20" in length, not including the pendant. The clasp is a simple Mother of Pearl Vintage Button.

Garden Stake Wind Chime, Stained Glass leaves

My Sculptured Copper Vine ~ Garden Stake ~ Wind Chime ~

A gentle flowing sculptured vine sprouts up from the garden as spring brings forth new growth. Hear the songs of a garden as it awakens from it's long slumber.

I love anything organic and I love vines of any kind. So, I thought I would create something from nature that would blend into a garden.

Exposed to the elements the copper will patina into a dark tone.

I sculpted a climbing vine out of copper ~ 2 green stained glass leaves wrapped in copper topped with an organic glass bead embellish the vine. Hanging from the vine are the chimes, which consist of

~ a string of 2 metal buterflies that hit against a metal chime

Its a very soft and gentle chime. The entire sculpture measures 14 inches long and 6-1/2 inches at its widest point

I hand cut all of the glass & sand to perfection. Thanks you for the interest in my art

Criss-Crossed Brass Earrings

The crossed impression is folded into this pair of brass earrings. The surface has been textured and lightly oxidized to highlight the texture, giving an antiqued look to the pieces. They are slightly domed.

I choose to use gold-filled ear wires as they were similar in color to the brass. I can change them to brass or sterling silver if desired.

The discs are 1 inch and the earrings measure approximately 1-1/4 inches from the top of the ear wires.

I love these cherry blossoms! They make me look forward to the spring, which is almost here in Oklahoma. Get your choice of brushes ready, and head for the outdoors. This book is a perfect size to fit in your hand, or a small bag.

I sculpted a piece of copper to resemble a stem and placed

a gorgeous frosted glass flower votive at the top ~ they are removable

These glass flowers are found objects, upcycled into these garden stakes. Swirls of copper with glass beads embellish the stakes

One stake is 15 inches long and the other stake is 16 inches long. They are both 3- 3/4 inches at their widest point

Bird Song, Stained Glass and Feathers Wind Chime

With the arrival of Spring comes the sweet songs of birds as the woods around me awaken from its deep winter slumber. I just love waking up to that!

Here sits a bird I've sculpted from one piece of Salvaged Vintage wispy brown textured glass.

At the top of this wind chime is a natural tree branch from my woods, sun dried and sealed. The branch is strung with a piece of natural twine, with a looped piece at the top for the hanger and embellished with long real feathers, ready for you to enjoy in your home or garden.

3 leaves made from an organic looking gorgeous green glass, these are strung using black, tan and acrylic nut beads. A string of real feathers hang from a piece of leather

The total hanging measurement is 16-1/2 inches long and 7 inches at its widest point. I hand cut all of the glass, sand it to perfection, and then drill them. My name is etched in the glass.
