Summer's Bounty

In this day and age it is so easy to jump in the car and drive to our local shopping center or mall and find everything at our disposal. Shops filled with endless arrays of plastic or electronic goods, shops chock-a-block with fads, fun stuff, and fluff. For people who need instant gratification, mall shopping can fill that need as quick as a wink, but, here's the thing, your local Mall or Shopping Center doesn't have, great quality handmade goods. When you buy handmade not only are you buying an item, you are buying in to the "branding" of it, and a little piece of the creator. You instantly recognize that loving hands have carefully crafted something really extraordinary, something that carries with it a little piece of the creators personality. It is really joyous to look around Handmade Haven and see such talent and craftsmanship, it far outshines what you can buy in a local store. Items are innovative, quirky, beautiful, ingenious, and original. That's one of the things I love most about shopping handmade, the very fact that you have something original, and even if the seller recreates items to sell them again, each one is its own unique entity because its not mass produced. Shopping Handmade is a unique experience, and one I hope more and more people will start to do, because when you shop handmade you own a piece of handmade heaven.
