Wear a piece of history! These are truly unique cufflinks that will draw many compliments! Absolutely one of a kind! These coins are over 60 years old! They just fire my imagination. Where have they been? How were they spent?

Using coins from the late 1800's thru the 1940's, I hand forge historical pieces of wearable art! Prior to the 1960's, quarters & dimes were made of solid silver. Actually 90% silver (Sterling is 92.5% silver).

This is a truly unique vintage silver coin bracelet that will draw many compliments! Truly one of a kind!

Prior to the 1960's, dimes were made of solid silver. Actually 90% silver (Sterling is 92.5% silver). Using dimes from the 1930's & 40's, I hand forge historical pieces of wearable art!

Thank you for checking out my newest line of mason bee nesting media. This newest mason bee nest house, stackable, can be used with or without paper straws.

If you attract mason bees to your garden, you will notice a difference. About the size of the common house fly, gentle blue-black Mason Bees are our most powerful native pollinators. All around North America, and especially here in the Pacific Northwest, the native Mason Bee occurs in large numbers.

Unable to tunnel holes for their own nests, mason bees rely on existing holes, and have been shown to prefer 5/16” smooth holes, which I mimic using extra-sharp cutting tools.

Upon selecting a nest cavity, the female mason bee goes about her busy days of building her nests. First, she'll collect mud to build a partition at the far end of the cavity.

Once this plug is complete, she goes out to pollinate your plants, collecting pollen to provide food for the eggs she will lay in order from the bottom of the cavity, pollen, egg, mud, pollen, egg, mud, until the cavity is filled.

The final layer is always an extra-heavy mud plug, which will protect her growing larvae from harm. The following spring, the fresh bees emerge to mate and start the cycle all over again.

With these reclaimed wood mason bee houses, you can bring high quality yields from your garden. Simply hang it on a wall, preferably facing East or South, in a sunny spot where the box will be sheltered. An ideal location is on a wall that will receive morning sunlight, under the eave of your roof, at least 4 feet from the ground, and within 100 feet from the garden.

Comes fully assembled, with all hardware, instructions, and two small nails from which to hang it.

The inspiration for this product actually came from a soaping group I am a member of and from my brother-in-law. We were given the task of making a product for St. Patrick's Day and then writing a limerick about that product. Hahaha! Usually our challenges are soap related and this one was totally unique and so much fun.

I chose to make a lotion bar because they are rich in fabulous oils and butters, easier than regular lotion to take with you anywhere you go, they are compact and a highly concentrated version of a lotion.

The scent I chose is a citrus blend of Essential Oils called Sunshine Spice and it fits perfectly with the them of this challenge and depicts for me what Ireland is.

Here is my limerick:

A lad from Limerick named Liam

Was tattered and torn from the bringin’

of fish from the Shannon

he sat all day tannin’

until he was burned on his skinin.

This is a true story for sure,

His rough skin, there wasn’t a cure

His wife’s little sister

Had a cure for his blister

So she made up a lotion he could endure.

Now, he wouldn’t use nothin’ all girly

It couldn’t smell frilly and pearly

And Sue made up a bar

That came in a jar

And for sure it was manly and burly.

Now, I really do have a brother-in-law named Liam, he really is from Limerick, Ireland and his family home was next to the Shannon River.

This luscious lotion bar ingredients include Candelilla Wax, Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Castor Jelly, Kukui Nut Oil, Meadowfoam Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Evening Primrose Oil and Vitamin E (Tocopherol) and Essential Oil Blend.

Each 2+ ounce lotion bar is individually wrapped and placed in a 4 oz jar for safe keeping.
