Nautral Turqoise Cairn Necklace

These Cairns are another transformation of my Cairn series. Smaller and more simply stated than the Lariat Cairns, yet half-again larger than my Wee-Cairns! This size Cairn was inspired by a Gloria - a customer looking for something between the two existing Cairn styles.

Throughout the ages and found in all cultures, Cairns have been used for centuries as path markers and landmarks. I like to think that these simple Cairns can serve as reminders for the wearer of all the guides and path markers that are available along the way.

These Cairns are created using really lovely natural Turquoise, a favorite of mine. On this stack the largest stone on the bottom is 20 x 8mm and the Cairn is a total of 40mm tall including the loop at the top. It is accented with a rustic Copper accordion bead that I've customized and placed just below the Turquoise nugget at the crown.

The pendant hangs on two strands of waxed linen, measuring a total of 20" in length, not including the pendant. The clasp is a simple Mother of Pearl Vintage Button.

A pair of brass and suede earrings to go with my rustic and rugged style.This is another of my made-up names featuring leather with "my" new gold color, loving it's look and affordability. AND, it's great to work with. The brass squares were heavily textured, hammered and shaped. I've added a strip of tan suede, folded and copper wire- wrapped the ends to give that great Western look I love. Hope you do too. The earrings are 2 1/2" long X 5/8" at widest part. Ear wires are handmade sterling silver.

A Western look for these brightly colored fish, native American inspired earrings. They were made using sterling and German silver with colorful beads of red "coral" and turquoise. I shaped the ear wires for a bit of a fish-look. The German silver, aka nickel silver, was heated and forged to bring out the copper patina in the metal alloy. I hammered and textured the front surfaces and gave them an uneven, handcrafted look. The silver squares measure approx. 3/4" with total length of earrings 2 1/4". Hope you like them.

Sort of sleek, sort of casual. Texture and markings create a dynamic look for anytime wear. These earrings of 18 g. German silver have a dark pewter/bronze patina from the heat of the torch. I created an overall, front and back pebble effect with additional design of curved lines, hammer marks, and tiny drilled holes . The ear wires are handcrafted with rounded shepherd's hook using 19 g. sterling. The dark grey dangles measure 2 1/2" X 1/2" and are 3 1/4" in total length.

The earrings have been heat forged and rounded out, creating a slight arch. They have a strong heavy look yet are medium weight for your comfort.

A unisex brassy, leather, pendant neck piece. A great look for Western wear. For a rustic and rugged cowboy or cowgirl, even if you are a wannabee.

The pendant is forged and etched with a" bubble X" design on a solid 20 gauge brass sheet. The pendant is 4" X 1" , connected by 18 g. copper wire to double tan suede cord. The ends are wrapped with copper wire and connected by a forged, hammered brass hook. The suede necklace measures 21/12".
