Tough Chic, Luxurious Sterling & Rose Quartz Necklace

I love the weave of this sterling silver chain. It's got a substantial presence...Loads of Sterling Silver that's right in scale with this plump flat Rose Quartz briolette. I've wire wrapped the Rose Quartz, adding tiny sterling seed beads to the wire for a little extra texture. A pretty Swarovski crystal in Aurora Borealis rests on top and this whole confection sways from a fan shaped sterling silver bail. The chain measures 18 inches and would be great with any number of other pendants. The pendant measures approximately 55mm (about 2 & 1/8 inches) from top to bottom.

This is a great statement piece, and would be great for a plus sized woman who's tired of dainty jewelry that is out of scale with her fabulosity!

Audrey Necklace, Rare Vintage Swarovski & Brass Stamping

My favorite of all the Swarovski Crystal shapes is the acorn, which has been discontinued for decades and is getting harder and harder to find. It was made in a limited amount of colors. I've only been able to find Jonquil (a pale yellow) and Olivine, which is the color I've used in this necklace. It swings from a detailed brass stamping with a distinctly vintage feel. I've individually looped Swarovski bi-cones in olivine, topaz & amethyst colors and interspersed pretty brass rectangles along this hand made chain. There's even an extension chain for that you can find your best length between 21 and 24 inches. The focal dangle measures about 40 mm (a little less than 1 & 3/4 inches) long.

Nautral Turqoise Cairn Necklace

These Cairns are another transformation of my Cairn series. Smaller and more simply stated than the Lariat Cairns, yet half-again larger than my Wee-Cairns! This size Cairn was inspired by a Gloria - a customer looking for something between the two existing Cairn styles.

Throughout the ages and found in all cultures, Cairns have been used for centuries as path markers and landmarks. I like to think that these simple Cairns can serve as reminders for the wearer of all the guides and path markers that are available along the way.

These Cairns are created using really lovely natural Turquoise, a favorite of mine. On this stack the largest stone on the bottom is 20 x 8mm and the Cairn is a total of 40mm tall including the loop at the top. It is accented with a rustic Copper accordion bead that I've customized and placed just below the Turquoise nugget at the crown.

The pendant hangs on two strands of waxed linen, measuring a total of 20" in length, not including the pendant. The clasp is a simple Mother of Pearl Vintage Button.
